Welcome to the 626 (Predannack) Volunteer Gliding Squadron Website!

On the site, you can find a variety of useful information about the gliding squadron including important dates and events, and there are even a few photos for all to see!

Here is a breakdown of what there is on offer:

	Allocations - You can find a list of gliding allocations for the next few months. Updated based on information received from Plymouth & Cornwall Wing HQ 2 July 2009.
	Courses - Here, you can find out about the courses that are available to cadets and what you can expect on your first visit and flights with us. Revised 31 October 2008.

MEL Trophy 1991. Racal Trophy 1999-2000. For sustained improvement in performance.

Breitling Trophy April 2001 - March 2003, April 2003 - March 2005 and April 2007 - March 2009. For the greatest contribution to youth development over the previous 2 years.

Sir Arthur Marshall Trophy 2000-2001, 2001-2002, 2003-2004, 2004-2005 and 2006-2007. Best squadron operating winch-launched gliders.

British Aerospace Trophy 2001-2002, 2003-2004. Top squadron overall.

George Young Memorial Trophy 2007. Best engineering standards.

Well, maybe not the Top Gun Trophy or an astronaut yet, but if you are aged 16 or over you can train to be a glider pilot!

Look at the information about Gliding Scholarship courses. If you are aged over 15½ now is the time to complete an application form and get your name on the waiting list.
